November mini photo sessions

November 9th was a whirlwind of a day. It started off very early and very stressful as I awoke to rain (this is cause for a photographer with 18 sessions booked on the day to have a panic attack.)
As luck (and prayers) would have it, the clouds parted by 8:30 and we were off and running with our first session starting at 9. The day of mini shoots (held in south Austin, Slaughter fields) was filled with family, couples, kids, dogs and so so so much love. The mom’s loved our beautiful set up under the oaks and the dad’s kept raving about the short and easy sessions (many said it was the best family portrait experience they have ever had.) My assistant Josie was always energetic and amazing with her help (there is no way I could have pulled this off alone.) Please enjoy a small sample of our beautiful day. Cheers, dez
