I had no idea a photo shoot could be so fun! Desiree and her assistant were the perfect pair to make my daughter’s senior photo shoot absolutely the best! They were fun, witty and personable which made the photo shoot go so smoothly and made you feel at ease. I felt like we had been friends forever, even though we just met! We used Desiree for my daughter’s senior pictures. We truly loved our experience working with Desiree, from the flexibility in scheduling, the flawless delivery of our pictures, to her relaxed, fun and professional demeanor. While taking pictures of my daughter and her horse, many other horses wanted to check out her camera equipment and Desiree just took it all in stride. My daughter felt beautiful. Desiree is a really great photographer and I highly recommend her. I hope to have her take some family photos soon.
We are so happy with Desiree’s pictures. Honestly, they ALL are so good, I will have a hard time choosing my favorites. The entire process was very smooth and enjoyable. Desiree was fantastic! We had family coming in from all over Texas so that we could get a family picture with the bluebonnets. Rain had almost ruined everything, but Desiree was willing to work with us to find a new time and location that worked for everyone. The pictures turned out great!

I did my 10 year old daughter’s photo shoot and we had so much fun! The photos are amazing! Desiree picked the perfect location and had lots of suggestions for poses to make the shots awesome! She also had referred us to a hair and make-up artist. Will definitely use her again to create more memories!

My mom and I had our pictures taken by Desiree for a Christmas card. She is very flexible with dates, times, and location. She is readily available and always responds to messages quickly. This was our first photo shoot, so a few weeks prior to the shoot, she took the time to call and give us some tips and talk about details. The pictures turned out awesome! Very detail oriented and has creative ideas for poses. Highly recommend her.
My fiance and I had our engagement photos taken by Desiree and they turned out great! She really listened to the kind of locations we wanted to shoot at and took us to some great locations in Austin that really fit our personalities. Desiree took my son’s senior pictures and they turned out fantastic! Was referred to her from a friend who has used her several times. The entire experience was great. She’s easy to work with, creative but ot over the top. Has suggestions on locations, hair stylist and makeup artist. Got the proofs back quickly and they turned out beautifully. Worth every penny.
WOW! First of all, Desiree photographed my daughter’s Senior pictures and we had SO MUCH FUN with her. She chose some super unique, edgy and cool places, and was able to really capture my daughter’s personality. I can’t even begin to decide which picture I like best. Desiree and her assistant were completely awesome. She took our wedding photos and they were seriously outstanding.
I was so happy and pleased with the way they turned out. She was easy going and made me feel calm as all the chaos was happening in the getting ready room. She captured so much of the night and so many action shots we couldn’t stop smiling looking through all of the photos.
She sent us a link and made a slide show for us and even sent two different USBs in little cute boxes for us to keep forever. Very impressed and would recommend her for any event or special moments you are looking to capture in the best way!

My experience was amazing!! I traveled down to Texas to check out schools and get my senior pictures and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Not only did I get to see some amazing places in Texas but I absolutely loved the pictures she took and they really reflected who I am! Overall it was a great time and definitely a 5 out of 5 experience and I highly recommend her for any photo shoots!!!
Desiree took my senior photos recently and I am beyond pleased. She is extremely organized and helps you feel comfortable and confident. I would recommend her for any photo shoot, especially if having your pictures taken is a little out of your comfort zone like it was for me. We had a blast during the shoot and afterwards she works with you and edits each photo to your liking. 
Absolutely loved our maternity pictures by Desiree. My wife and I felt like all we had to do was put ourselves at the shoot location and she took care of the rest. Highly recommend!
To say I’m pleased with my daughter’s senior pictures is such an understatement. I just don’t have words to express how amazing Desiree is to work with and the phenomenal images we have to cherish. Graduation is stressful, so many things to coordinate and do. Dez made this part of it so easy. I waited until the last minute to do this and she was most accommodating. My daughter felt at ease with her right away and had fun with the shoot. She loves her pictures which is rare for her. She truly captured my daughter’s personality and soul for which I am forever grateful.

I’d give her 10 stars if I could. We are not ones to purchase formal pictures, we like the ‘life shots,’ but Desiree did a phenomenal job, not to mention we had a blast for the half day we were with her. I’ve had several friends say they would not consider it until they saw my daughter’s senior photos. Over all a wonderful experience!!! Have to say her makeup and hair girl, Sean, is also fantastic !! I would not hesitate to hire them both again.
I’m at a loss for words. Desiree is the most amazing photographer! She not only made me comfortable during our session but also excited and confident. Best photographer ever!!! I hired Desiree to take photos of me, my girlfriend (now fiance, woo!) and our doggies with a surprise proposal mixed in. She was great! She even met me out at the site I chose a few days prior to the shoot to help work out the timing and where the best shots would be. You can tell she really loves what she does. My daughter and I loved the experience that we had with Desiree shooting her senior pictures. My daughter enjoyed the hair and makeup and doing multiple locations and outfits. My husband and I wanted to get pictures of her that represented her personality and brought out the best of her. We did not want Glamour shots! Desiree really delivered in all departments. I was present for most of the time and watched her figure out what would portray my daughter’s personality in the best light. I am so happy with the results and would highly recommend her to anyone. After much research we picked Desiree to do my daughters senior pictures. They are everything we hoped for and much much more. Desiree spend time with us before the session to understand my daughter’s personality and what was important to her. Her session fee included having her hair and makeup done by a professional that was amazing. The weather was questionable the day of the shoot and Desiree communicated with us days in advance and the day of the shoot to make sure we were comfortable to proceed. She not only is an extremely talented photographer but a sweet and professional person. We met with her yesterday to view the photos and the video and I am overwhelmed with the results. We loved our experience with Desiree! We arranged for Desiree to take my daughters senior photos. She was extremely quick in responding back to us. Communication was a breeze. She listened to exactly what type of photos that we wanted and put that together with her own ideas. The outcome was beautiful. Desiree arranged for her hair and make up to be taken care of in our home before the photo shoot which definitely helped to take away that stress! We love our photos!
Desiree’s photos are beautiful, and she uses great makeup artists too. We’d been considering photographers who charged 3 times as much, and we didn’t like what we saw on their websites any better. She made my daughter feel beautiful–she is beautiful, of course, but there is an art to making the subject of a photograph relax–and we ended up with so many beautiful photos in so many different moods and poses that it’s going to be impossible to choose which ones we’ll print. And we get the great slideshow with music as well. So we don’t have to choose, digitally.I couldn’t recommend her more. She is a mother of 2 daughters, by the way. So she just really understands high school girls.

Desiree is an awesome photographer! She took us out on the town for tons of great shots with Austin downtown in the background, some vintage buildings, she told my daughter how to pose, etc. The results were fantastic! She looked like a model when all were done! Desiree wasn’t phased by the impending storm – it actually looked so great with the storm clouds above in the city shots! Even a few rain drops didn’t hamper us. She is efficient, knows places to go for great shots, which shots to do first, clothing suggestions, has a great make up person (Sally Janowitz). What an awesome experience for my graduating senior to feel like a ‘model for a day’.

Desiree is amazing! She is very talented, professional, and personable so she is great to work with. Planning a wedding can be stressful. I looked into several photographers around the Austin area and just didn’t feel like I found the right one for me. My husband (fiance at the time) actually came across Desiree’s Photography information. After checking out her site, I decided to contact Desiree so that I could meet with her. After seeing examples of her work and just from talking to her, I could definitely see that she would be great to work with. Hiring a photographer for the biggest day of your life can be stressful. I felt comfortable with Desiree so we hired her to do our engagement photos and wedding. We were quite pleased with how well she captured all of the special moments. My, now wife, and I researched what seemed like EVERY photographer in the state of Texas leading up to our wedding and we are SO happy we ended up picking Desiree Keelty. We live in Houston, but couldn’t resist the hill country as the backdrop for our wedding so we had to coordinate a lot of our vendor’s from “a distance”. Desiree was absolutely one of the best vendors we had the pleasure to work with – she took the time to meet with us prior to our wedding and she definitely put our minds at ease with her professionalism and experience. That was all prior to the wedding – the 2nd day after our wedding Desiree sent us a “sample” shot that she took and we, along with our friends and family, were in complete awe of the quality! Just a few days later we received a slideshow of photos that Desiree put together and my wife and I literally spent the entire night watching it on repeat…amazing!
To summarize our experience, I will say that my wife and I have already made the decision that if we are blessed with a child, we will definitely be calling upon Desiree to do our maternity photos – even if we have to drive to Austin, it would be more than worth it!

Flying in from California for our sons high school graduation, it was at the last minute that I decided I wanted to do a senior portrait/family photo session that would serve as something of a souvenir of our time in Austin. I knew what kind of photographer I wanted, one who could create art through the lens, communicate our personalities through the photographs. I didn’t want the stuffy, staged and posed photos we all grew up with. I wanted candid shots filled with laughter and love! Not being at all familiar with the Austin area, I looked through countless online albums before stumbling upon Desiree’s website and I knew right away, if she was available, this was the photographer I’d been searching for. Lucky for us, Desiree was available and the photos she took are everything I wanted and more! Desiree is absolutely one of the best! Her shots are original, captivating and gorgeous! I don’t have a single picture that looks staged or awkward because she makes you feel completely comfortable on the other side of her lens. Her images are so light and effortless. She is able to capture the moment perfectly and still maintain an eye for the creative in every single shot. My only problem now is trying to narrow down my choices to order prints for family and friends! Thank you Desiree!!

..its an experience. A fabulous experience! Her senior photo shoots begin with a get to know you session. She combines that learned knowledge with her intuition and creates a very personal, spot on experience that results in the most beautiful, thoughtful and fun photos. Desiree picked the perfect locations, gave the perfect amount of guidance, created a fun and easy atmosphere and the photos were breathtaking! I just wish I had another senior so we could do it all over again!

There are many photographers out there that perhaps do a great job, but Desiree has a quality that sets her apart. She is a person that you actually enjoy being around, and she appears to enjoy being with you also! She didn’t once look at a watch to see if our time was up, but was more interested in getting the best shots with the best lighting. And her finished products – the book, the photos, the slideshow – all very professional. But more importantly, they express her incredible creativity. She isn’t just taking pictures. She is creating an image that can’t be achieved without her artistic ability. We will go back to her later for Christmas card photos.

Can’t say enough about Desiree’s work. She flew to Chicago to photograph my three children in various spots all around the city. She totally captured the personalities of my kids, as well as the vibe of the city. She has such a creative eye. Lot’s of people have technical training and a nice camera to go along with it but few are true artists. Desiree is.
My family recently had Desiree Keelty take our pictures. I love her relaxed and easy going nature. We found her to be very easy to work with and our session felt like a little family gathering! My boys commented afterwards that it was unlike any we had ever done before and fun natured! LOVED HER WORK and her personality!! We hired her for my son’s graduation pictures and they turned out AWESOME!. My son was not so sure of getting his picture done, but she made him feel at ease and also let him use his Truck in some of them. She did some pictures at an old Texaco station, and they turned out great! She also took some out in a country field and Camp Ben!! We will use her again and soon for our Family pictures. Just got the prints back from my daughters photo shoot! I love them! Desiree was so much fun to work with. She picked an awesome venue for the shoot, was so patient and friendly, and made the whole experience a joy! Friends and relatives were amazed at how beautiful the pics were and could not pick just one favorite pose but several. The pics were so crisp and clear it was as if you could reach out and touch her skin! It actually gave me goosebumps! Desiree truly deserves 5 stars!!!
We hired Desiree to take maternity photos and as you can imagine the last thing I wanted to do was take photos while I was 8 months pregnant but Desiree was so accommodating and professional that it made for a very memorable and meaningful photo shoot. We received our pictures back in a week or less and we were absolutely in love with her artistic ability. She captured feelings in the photos not just images. We chose a photo package that came with our pictures on cd set to music of our choice and I think Mark and I must have watched it over 100 times that day. Since the maternity shoot she has also taken our save the date photos that included our son, recently, his 1st birthday smash the cake photo session and we are scheduled to have bridal photos and our wedding too. Without any doubt or question I knew I wanted her to be there to capture our wedding and its very comforting to know that I can honestly say that we love her work and have found our family photographer.

Perhaps the coolest thing about what she does — beyond her sheer talent — is that she makes the shoot personal to the individuals. Her senior photos, for example, tell a story about WHO the kids are, about what’s important to them, their gifts, their talents, their personality.
